What others say about Scott:

"Scott's work speaks for itself so I'll just speak for the man who's contribution as inaugural CD of Innocean has been huge.

His style is inclusive and receptive to feedback which I found great to work with. He also has those great qualities necessary in a good creative director, tenacity, and perseverance".

Bob Isherwood, Global Creative Advisor Innocean Worldwide, Ex-Global CCO of Saatchi & Saatchi, Advertising Legend.

"When Scott joined the Ogilvy agency in Sydney he quickly made his mark very early with passion, straight hard work and great thinking. Scott is an establish leader of creatives and of clients. He is able to be what I would call a ‘Strategic Creative’. He has the ability to discuss business problems and how the creative ideas address these problems in very simple to understand ways. He listens and has a passion for his craft. Clients seek his opinion and counsel. I would recommend Scott and his vast array of experience, his drive to get great work and his ability to lead the conversation".

David Fox, Chief Executive Officer, Ogilvy Australia.

"Five years in any high-pressure business will expose the true traits of those people actively involved in driving results, Scott's 5 years on the Kia account is a definitive example. His positive contribution to the business within that time was enormous; creative leadership, strategic management and business guidance all served with a healthy dose of mirth. While these professional traits are his well-honed tools of trade, I think his true strength is his ability as a collaborator. He has a highly instinctive and inclusive approach, that not only produces great work but also a great working environment.

Hat's off to you Scott and best of luck for your next adventure".

Steve Watt, General Manager of Marketing, Kia Australia.

"Some of the best work in our network came from Scott. He never ceased to astonish us with his Honda work. Great ideas, brilliantly executed. He was a tremendous source of help, an inspiration on our global rumbles and a hell of a nice guy to work with".

Jonathan Harries, Vice Chairman & Global Chief Creative Officer, FCB.

"Over the past 7 years, Scott has provided brand, product, retail campaigns, marketing and advertising solutions to Honda Australia Pty Ltd through Draftfcb. During this time, Scott made a significant contribution to Honda Australia's success in the automotive market. Scott quickly developed a deep understanding of Honda operating philosophies and brand position and had the capacity to materialise a broad range of creative and highly effective communication and marketing solutions. Scott demonstrated a real capacity to enthusiastically and professionally deliver quality work to brief, within budget and to schedule. I have no hesitation in recommending Scott".

Lindsay Smalley, Senior Director, Honda Australia Pty Ltd.

"I worked with Scott over a 5 year period at Draftfcb and enjoyed it enormously. Even in tough times (and there were a few), his optimism and commitment to producing great work for our clients shone through. I've worked with many varied temperaments during my career but the beauty of Scott is that he keeps his feet on the ground and just brushes off disappointment and bounces back so strongly. He has a clear goal of doing great work and sees every brief as an opportunity. He was a great example to his team and the entire agency. I'm really glad our paths crossed and i wish him the very best in life".

Christine Barnes, Former Managing Director of Draftfcb Melbourne, Co Founder of Whybin TBWA, Currently partner of Creative Consultancy "It's the thought that counts".

Scott's Bio.

Scott started his career at Y&R Adelaide, at the time, one of Australia’s most established and respected agencies.

It was here that he built his appetite for great ads.

After two years in the industry, Scott was offered a job at the famous Batey Ads in Singapore. Batey was one of the hottest agencies in Asia Pacific, and it had a creative department full of future stars. And so, for the next four years, Scott got to work with, and be inspired by the likes of Tham Kai Meng, Jim Aitchinson, and Kash Sree, to name a few. It was during this period that his first awards started flowing in, and he started shooting up the Campaign Brief creative rankings.

A successful four-year stint at DDB Singapore followed, where his work continued to garner international awards.

Scott moved back to Australia in 2002, and spent the next nine years as Creative Director of FCB (later DRAFTFCB) Melbourne. During this period, his work was recognised locally, regionally and globally for its outstanding creativity.

In 2010 Scott became the inaugural CD of Innocean Worldwide Australia, an agency that was barely a year old, and far from being on the creative radar. In his first year, Scott was named the 'Global Employee of the Year' from the networks 1500 employees, and over the next four years, Scott and his talented team created a body of world class work that would propel the agency into one of Australia’s top 15, based on Campaign Briefs Hot & Cold Creative rankings. During 2013, Campaign Brief positioned Scott as the No.1 Creative Director, and Innocean the No.1 Creative Agency in Australia. It was also in this year that Innocean created their Global Creative Council under the guidance of Global Creative Advisor, Bob Isherwood. Scott was chosen to be one of the eight members on the council.

In 2016 Scott joined Ogilvy Sydney as Group Creative Director and was made the creative lead on Hahn Superdry, Primo Smallgoods and Kimberly Clarke. He was also involved in numerous KFC campaigns.

Scott has been awarded consistently at the major local, regional and global shows throughout his career, and has judged at Spikes Asia, AdFest, Award Australia, Mobius, and the Dubai Lynx Awards.

Over the years, Scott has worked on the following brands.

Air New Zealand, Asian Pals of the Planet, Australian Federal Government, BP (SE Asia), Carlsberg (SE asia), C.K.Tangs, Compaq (SE Asia), Hasbro, Honda, Hyundai, Johnson & Johnson (SE Asia), Keppel Bank (SE Asia), KFC, Kia, Kimberly Clarke, Kraft, Lion Nathan, Michelin (SE asia), Mitsubishi, Mobil (SE Asia), M1 (Singapore Telco), National Foods, Pernod Ricard, Primo Smallgoods, Raffles Hotel, Singapore Airlines, Singapore Tourism Board (SE Asia), Singapore Zoo, South Australian Government, Sony (SE Asia), Stihl, Sustagen, Tiger Beer (SE Asia), United Overseas Bank (SE Asia), Victorian Government, Visa (SE Asia), Vitasoy, VW (SE asia), White Pages, Yeo Hap Seng.
